Shipping Policy

Last Updated: 11/6/2025

At Viking Paradise, we take pride in delivering high-quality sourced goods to our clients worldwide. This Shipping Policy explains how we handle shipping, delivery timelines, and related responsibilities.

1. Shipping Methods

Viking Paradise primarily ships goods by sea freight, using one of the following methods depending on the order size and volume:

  • LCL (Less than Container Load): For smaller orders that do not require a full container. Goods are consolidated with other shipments.

  • FCL (Full Container Load): For large orders that occupy an entire container. Provides dedicated space, shorter handling times, and reduced risk of damage.

We may also use air freight or courier services for urgent or small shipments upon client request.

2. Shipping Destinations

We ship globally to most major ports and destinations. However, certain countries or regions may be excluded due to trade restrictions, logistical limitations, or carrier constraints.

If you are unsure whether we can ship to your destination, please contact our logistics team at vikingparadiseltd@gmail.com before placing an order.

3. Order Processing Time

  • Standard order processing time is 5–45 business days after receipt of payment, depending on product type, availability, productiont time and inspection requirements.

  • Customized or bulk orders may require additional preparation time, which will be communicated before shipment.

  • Processing times do not include shipping or transit times.

4. Shipping Timeframes

Estimated transit times (after dispatch):

  • Sea Freight (LCL/FCL): 15–60 business days, depending on port location and customs clearance.

  • Air Freight: 5–10 business days.

Please note: These are estimated times only and may vary due to port congestion, customs inspections, weather conditions, or other factors beyond our control.

5. Shipping Terms (Incoterms)

Unless otherwise specified in your quotation or invoice, shipments are handled under standard Incoterms® 2020 — typically FOB (Free on Board) or CIF (Cost, Insurance, and Freight).

Specific shipping terms, including risk transfer points, will be detailed in the sales contract or proforma invoice.

6. Shipping Costs

  • Shipping costs depend on volume, weight, destination, and selected method (LCL or FCL).

  • Exact shipping fees will be confirmed in your quotation or invoice before order confirmation.

  • Additional charges such as port handling, customs duties, taxes, or inland delivery may apply and are the responsibility of the buyer unless otherwise agreed in writing.

7. Customs, Duties, and Taxes

  • All international shipments are subject to local customs regulations.

  • The buyer is responsible for any import duties, VAT, taxes, or brokerage fees imposed by the destination country.

  • Viking Paradise is not responsible for delays or costs arising from customs procedures or import restrictions.

8. Packaging and Handling

  • All goods are carefully packed for sea transport, using industry-standard materials to minimize damage risk.

  • Packaging type (e.g., pallets, cartons, crates) may vary depending on the product and shipping method.

  • Special packaging requests can be accommodated for an additional fee.

9. Tracking and Documentation

  • Once your order has shipped, Viking Paradise will provide the Bill of Lading (B/L), packing list, commercial invoice, and other relevant documents.

  • Tracking updates or container numbers will be shared upon availability.

  • Customers are encouraged to track the shipment through the shipping line’s portal or freight forwarder.

10. Delivery and Risk Transfer

  • Risk of loss or damage transfers to the buyer once goods are delivered to the carrier or shipping line, as per the agreed Incoterm.

  • Viking Paradise is not responsible for damages, loss, or delays occurring after handover to the carrier.

  • Buyers must inspect goods promptly upon arrival and report any damage or discrepancies within 7 days of receipt.

11. Delays and Force Majeure

While we strive to meet all estimated delivery times, Viking Paradise is not liable for delays caused by:

  • Port congestion

  • Customs inspections

  • Natural disasters, strikes, or political unrest

  • Shipping line or carrier disruptions

Such events will be considered force majeure and handled in accordance with our Terms of Service.

12. Shipping Insurance

  • For CIF shipments, insurance coverage is included up to the value specified in the invoice.

  • For FOB shipments, buyers are responsible for arranging their own marine insurance.

  • Additional insurance coverage can be arranged upon request.
